SACRED VALLEY of PERU PHOTO TOUR

with South American Journeys

Imagine stepping through a threshold of ancient Incan treasures and returning with a fresh enlightened vision – one you have experienced with your own senses and captured with your own eyes and camera to show the world!

David’s specialized photography program, designed specifcally for his alliance with South American Journeys, unfolds during a 8-day intensive journey into the Sacred Valley of Peru. Participants will learn hands-on techniques to improve and fine-tune their creative skills, acquiring what it takes to produce compelling photographic images instead of the occasional “good photo”. Development of visual awareness will be emphasized and the portrayal of “human emotion” and “spirit of place” will be essential elements of the course.

After arrival in the capital city of Lima, this magnificent journey first takes us to Cuzco -- the spectacular Incan Empire city in the Andes, located at 12,500 feet. This lovely and lively town is unmistakably Spanish in architecture, and full of mysticism and history. The glorious villages of Pissac, Ollantaytambo, and Willoc offer vast, panoramic vistas. We’ll visit the famous artisans, whose woven handicrafts are some of the finest in the world. An exciting touring adventure takes us by train to the ‘Lost city of Machu Picchu’.

Our itinerary is enhanced with options to learn about medicinal plants from spiritual healers, soak in aromatic baths, and to relax with an Andean-style massage. Join David and South American Journeys for this incredible and unforgettable opportunity!
